On the 21st of October 2017, Ramgarhia Sports and Social Club held the Sounds of Bollywood Charity Fundraiser at the Ramada Banqueting Hall in Ruislip. Since our Charity Ball in 2014, significant progress has been made with respect to the Durdan’s park cricket ground development, including the laying of the cricket pitch and the construction of the pavilion. The purpose of this event was to help raise funds for the final stages of the development and the site’s running once it is fully operational.
The event was attended by 380 people and included update speeches from RSSC board members and live singing from Manjeet Sethi & Ranjeet Sethi, both of whom superbly sang songs from many famous Bollywood movies.
Between the singing, there was live dancing by Creative Edge and a silent auction by Lots4Charity.
During the event, a lovely three-course meal was served. The event ended with a fantastic raffle draw and live music from DJ Harry of Divine Musiq.
The event’s success was a collective effort, and RSSC is deeply grateful to all the individuals who contributed. We extend a special thank you to our sponsors, whose generous donations were instrumental in making this event a success and will continue to support the site’s development into a modern and competitive cricket ground.
